Every Stop Has a Story

Washington Square Park

Abbi tries to buy "designer" weed near the central fountain here in Season 1's "Apartment Hunters," shot in the guerrilla style the crew used to capture Greenwich Village's unscripted chaos.

Kenka

This East Village izakaya, known for $1.50 drafts and a DIY cotton candy machine, hosts the chaos of Ilana's birthday dinner in Season 2's "St. Marks," on a block the showrunners chose for its gritty, unpolished street culture.

The Back Room

Hidden behind a toy company gate down an alley, this Prohibition-era speakeasy still serves cocktails in white ceramic teacups, a disguise once used to hide alcohol from 1920s police raids, and its velvet interior backs the girls' sophisticated night out in Season 2's "Citizens Ship."

Whole Foods Gowanus

Abbi racks up a $1,400 grocery bill while hallucinating a giant blue puppet named Bingo through this store's aisles in Season 2's "Wisdom Teeth."

4th Ave & 9th St Station

This elevated station, one of the highest in the subway system, becomes the site of a makeshift "subway pool party" in Season 4's "Friendiversary," turning real rain-flooded platforms into a joke about New York's crumbling transit.

Soulstice Gym

This Williamsburg building plays "Soulstice," the boutique gym where Abbi works through nearly every early episode, and many of her menial tasks there were drawn from the real service jobs the show's creators held before Broad City took off.

The Dominique Daas Bakery

This cafe was transformed into the fictional Dominique Daas Bakery for Season 3's "Two Chainz," with over 100 extras forming a line around the block while Abbi wasted an entire day waiting for a "Churron."

Beacon's Closet

Abbi and Ilana hunt for "resale cash" inside this 5,500-square-foot warehouse in Season 3's "Rat Pack," filmed during real business hours to capture the authentic pressure of the clothing intake counter.
